July is going to be great – I am confident of that! I have three weddings coming up in that month, all at gorgeous locations with great, fun people.
I took the chance to visit Jane, Martin and Abbie at their house at Seasalter – Jane and Martin are a little camera shy and I wanted to take the opportunity of taking a few pictures so that they could feel more confident on the day. And here they are …

I am so looking forward to their wedding celebrations, which will be at a beautiful venue, Reads, in Faversham, close to where I live … see you all very soon!
I had the pleasure of photographing Jane for her …th birthday party celebrations yesterday. Despite the overcast weather, and the odd spot of rain, Jane was absolutely glowing …

It was a real family affair, with Georgia (see post below) enjoying the fun with her aunts and uncles. I am photographing Jo and Ed’s wedding celebrations in August, and just had to take the opportunity to get a couple of pictures of them too …

Jo’s sisters, Vicky and Emma, and their brother Robert all joined in the celebrations … and I might also be photographing another wedding … in 2011!

Congratulations to you both!
And here are those gorgeous girls with their very proud dad …

And finally, one of the whole family together …

By the end of our session, the sun was starting to break through the clouds. I hope that you all had an enjoyable day and I am very much looking forward to seeing you all again in August!
I have had the best day. I met with one of my August brides and got up-to-date with her wedding plans and then got to photograph her mum’s birthday celebrations …
Just as a quick teaser, I am going to post one of my favourite images from the day (which was difficult, as I have so many favourites!) … this is Georgia, totally entranced by the bubbles – I am definitely going to buy one of these fabulous machines!

More pictures to follow … but thank you to Jane and Chris and your lovely family for making me feel so welcome today. I hope that the rain stayed away and that you enjoyed your afternoon together. See you all again in August!
I met up with my friend Liz and her children today at Bluewater and noticed that there was some filming going on. Ever curious, we snuck up and saw that Gok Wan was filming “How To Look Good Naked”. Well, ever the photographers, we grabbed our cameras and (with permission), snapped away!

Moments like this make it all worth while … I was visited by my friend Amanda and her gorgeous three week old, Trinity Rose, who I photographed when she was only six days old!
Amanda had some thank you cards made and asked whether she could use one of the pictures that I took of Trinity – well, of course, I was delighted! The cards were produced by Moo.
So, of course, ever the photographer, I took some shots of Trinity (after mummy and I had some lunch …)

It was lovely to see you both again and I hope that you will visit soon (for our “Yummy Mummy” session …) xx
I met some wedding clients at a local venue (and am hoping that they are going to book me for their wedding). Whilst waiting, I took a couple of shots …

The top image is a solitaire set, found in the room (bottom left). Each chair in this gorgeously light room had a pillow, which had been “puffed” just so. And the room (bottom right) is both the ceremony room and where the wedding breakfasts are held for smaller parties.
Read’s website is here. I have heard only excellent reviews and hope to enjoy a lunch here very soon (and hopefully photograph a wedding here in July!).
and have just received my pack of Seeds of Change chocolate to test and Bzz about. Details on being a Bzz Agent can be found here: BzzAgent. It’s a great way of spreading news about new products by word of mouth. I’ve tried some great products in the past and am very much looking forward to trying Seeds of Change dark chocolate with “Orange & Fig” and milk chocolate with “Apricot & Cashew”. You can find out more details about Seeds of Change here.
The pack arrived this morning and it’s too early to try the chocolate (is it ever really TOO early …) so I will update you on the taste later… watch this space!
Just a couple of shots of the product … which is delicious, by the way! I’ve only tried the Apricot and Cashew so far …

I popped in recently to visit an ex-colleague of mine with her gorgeous 14 month old, Erin. Such a lively girl – taking me round the garden and showing me the roses (and then pulling them off the plant …). The weather was gorgeous which, of course, makes it a bit difficult to control the lighting … but this was only a spontaneous “grab the camera” … here’s a quick montage of Erin in action …

Erin’s mum showed me some lovely things which she had made when Erin was quite tiny …

I wanted to show Erin’s beautiful curls – I processed these images with a “vintage” action which has brought out different colours in the pictures …

And mummy’s favourite picture … Erin in action!

I had the most wonderful session this week with a beautiful five month old little girl … Amelia …

Of course, we couldn’t resist putting the angel wings on Amelia … and she seemed to take it all in her stride!

Amelia’s mummy and daddy had some great ideas of the shots that they wanted … I will have the proofs with you very soon … thank you all for making it such fun and I hope that you like the pictures!
I just thought that I would add a few more pictures … I often get asked for photos of babies feet …
