In the lead up to a wedding, people get nervous … and that includes wedding photographers! It’s a mixture of anticipation and excitement … you have scoped out the venue for great pictures … you have met (and possibly photographed your couple) … you have done your homework, cleaned your camera and equipment, charged the batteries … but still there are butterflies in your stomach!

However, when I receive a note from one of my soon-to-be brides, I realise that there are other people who are nervous too and it is my job to be calm, composed and as helpful as possible on the day. And that is why I love my job. I really do!
