I was visited by a Super Hero today …

Our neighbour’s son, Samuel, was at a party today, and they popped round to get some photos taken.  Well, I thought it was only fitting that Spiderman should be photographed against a wall, but unfortunately he didn’t climb up it!  We are organising a proper photoshoot in the very near future … Samuel is such a great subject to photograph!

This is his mum’s favourite shot …

Another beautiful baby … and he’s my godson!

This is baby James, the second son of my very good friends Kate and Duncan, and brother to Alex.  We had a great time recently at a BBQ with other close friends and I just had to take the opportunity to get some shots of my beautiful godson.

Just look at those eyes …

And getting more curious about this strange lady laying on the floor, taking his picture …

And playing hard to get …

I think that this one is my absolute favourite …

I am so much looking forward to taking more photos of both James and Alex as they grow up.  I wonder what their futures will hold … and we are looking forward to being a part of it.

Santago Leopard Sanctuary, Welwyn

A group of us from the Faversham and District Camera Club (based in Kent) met up on Sunday at the Santago Cat Sanctuary in Welwyn, Hertfordshire.  The sun shone which made for some great photographs.  Thanks to the guys from the club who dispensed photographic pearls of wisdom and who also laughed themselves silly when the Persian leopard launched herself at the bars (I wasn’t the only one that she took a dislike to …!).  A great day was had by all.

This is Harry, a clouded leopard.  Just look at the size of those eyes …

Please take me home ... I won't bite ... promise!

Meet Sade, a Persian leopard (you wouldn’t think that she could move quite so quickly …)

Thanks again (to Richard, who unfortunately was unable to attend) for organising such a wonderful day!

First newborn shoot … well, six weeks old …

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of photographing six weeks old baby Joseph.  He was the most patient baby and didn’t wake up at all whilst I was photographing him.  His grandparents are great friends of ours, and we are planning to do a big family shoot sometime in the very near future.

Joseph is just delicious … I bought a sheepskin rug especially to take his photo as every baby should be photographed on a sheepskin rug at least once …

Joseph’s mum is lovely too …

And I think granddad is pretty keen on Joseph also …

Thanks again for letting me get to know lovely baby Joseph (and his gorgeous sister Grace) and I look forward to seeing you all again very soon.  xxx

Shoes … glorious shoes!

My colleague at work has the most divine selection of shoes and I managed to get her out of the office today to Smithfield Market, London, for a mini photo shoot.  I just love the tones in these lace-up numbers …

Of course, we must have chosen the absolute busiest time and there were people everywhere!  But hey, got some great shots … and she has beautiful red shoes too …!

Judy and Mike’s engagement session slideshow

I really enjoyed the recent session with Judy and Mike and have uploaded a small slideshow which shows the images in both black and white …
