As the wedding business is often about networking and providing additional services, I am pleased to announce that I will be hosting a monthly blog post which will feature a supplier who is complementary to my own wedding photography business.
This month is Your RSVP Wedding Stationery (www.your-rsvp.co.uk) and I had the chance to ask Amanda some questions about Your RSVP and what they offer:
1. How long have you been offering wedding stationery and how many designs of stationery do you have?
We have been lucky enough to offer blank, personalised and bespoke wedding stationery to couples within the UK and worldwide for over four years. In that time, we’ve worked with over 200 couples and simply love the uniqueness of each and every wedding. Our personalised wedding stationery proves most popular, and from this range there are 16 designs.
2. What sort of products do you offer?
We have taken a full range approach to our wedding stationery. Couples can pick and choose exactly the wedding stationery they need and aren’t restricted by numbers. So if they need 82 wedding invitations and 41 RSVP cards, it’s not a problem! It’s easier to think about wedding stationery in two groups, guest stationery and wedding day stationery. Your RSVP offers all of these products:

3. Can the designs be personalised for colour-schemes?
For our personalised wedding stationery, everything is completely tailored to the couple’s wedding day. We are flexible with wording (although do provide a few suggestions (click here for Wording Style) and fonts. Small colour changes can be easily accommodated – however for new designs and major colour changes we would offer our bespoke wedding stationery service. 4. How do you show your clients their final proofs before they order?
All of our personalised and bespoke wedding stationery customers get their own online account area as soon as they place an order with Your RSVP. In this area, they can make comment / approve their proofs, share with friends and family, even make online payments. It makes the order process quick and easy and we’ve had great feedback! For bespoke customers, we do on request post out a hard copy to check, this is because it is a completely new design.
5. What’s the recommended lead-in time for orders?
Normally couples send out their guest wedding stationery 6 weeks before the big day, but with the couples we’ve had the pleasure of working with the average is closer to 3-6 months. We can turn wedding guest stationery around in 4 weeks, sooner if it’s in quieter months. For wedding day stationery, couples need to start thinking about it around 6 weeks before the big day. Again we need about 4 weeks and would deliver a week before the wedding (just in case there are any last minute table plan changes – which there always is!).
6. Are “save the date” cards becoming more popular in your experience and are these something which you provide?
Your RSVP offer save the date cards for blank, personalised and bespoke wedding stationery and they have over the years become more popular. Save the date cards can be sent out up to a year in advance and are perfect for weddings being held abroad or in peak wedding season (May-September).
