Meet a super little girl, baby {S}

What a delightful little girl … mummy was a little worried that she might be grumpy but baby {S} was an absolute superstar … take a look …

It was getting close to lunch time and I was in danger of losing my props …

Thanks again – I really am so lucky to have the opportunity to meet gorgeous babies like little baby {S} … see you soon!

It’s been a busy week – more images from Abbots Barton

With thanks to Janice, Abbots Barton events co-ordinator, we were able to have free rein throughout the hotel. It is great to have the opportunity to be a little more creative, even though the weather didn’t allow us to go outside …

With thanks again to models Lucy, Chenise and Cathy and to Emily, from Emily Rose Makeup based in Canterbury. And of course, to Janice!

Beautiful baby {B}

On a gloomy, rainy day in Kent, this little cherub certainly brought a ray of sunshine into my life … perfect during her session from start to finish, even sleeping almost on demand, little baby {B} was just delightful … and here’s the proof …

Unbelievably cute …

And funny, and sweet and just … well delightful!

A little angel at just over four weeks old …

{New product} A3 calendars …

I am so excited to be able to offer this new product – I received the final print version in the post this morning and had to post some pictures …

If you have recently had a newborn, maternity or family session with me, this might just be the product for you! A gorgeous, glossy A3 size calendar (that’s two A4 sheets joined together), beautifully printed with your own pictures. What more could you want? To celebrate a baby’s birth, as a gift, or just to show off your pictures on your office wall. These products are beautiful and the quality of the printing is excellent … as shown on the image above, you can have either one large picture or two smaller ones … the large picture measures a whopping 12″ x 9″ and the size of the smaller pictures is 6″ x 9″.

And, at the end of the year, if you can bear it, you could mount the pictures in photo frames and keep them on display for even longer! The calendar can start at any time from the month of production to four months ahead, if the calendar is produced in February, the start month can be any month from February, March, April, May and June.

The price for these calendars will be £100 per product – excellent value when you can frame the prints afterwards! However, as a special launch offer, they will be available for purchase at £75 until the end of February and this will cover all portrait sessions carried out up until the end of February inclusive.

The calendar will be dispatched to you in strong cardboard packaging and by registered post … something as gorgeous as this will be admired by all your friends and family!

These could make wonderful gifts for grandparents, godparents, aunties, uncles, the list is endless. What a wonderful way to share your portrait session pictures with everyone!

And could you imagine how stunning it would look for wedding photographs … contact me now to order your copy!

Shoot at the {Abbots Barton Hotel} in Canterbury

Just time to post some quick teasers from a great shoot today at the Abbots Barton Hotel in Canterbury

Thanks to Emily from Emily Rose Makeup Artist who is based in Canterbury. Emily brought along Lucy, who features in all of these images … more to follow tomorrow from two further models, Chenise and Cathy … but just a couple more from Lucy …

A lovely way to start the New Year … with a gorgeous {baby} session!

What a gorgeous and very lively little girl … such a fun shoot today and totally worth the journey through the snow … my lovely little super model was so comfy in the basket with the sheepskin rug … I think she could have stayed there all day … I am working hard on proofing the rest of the images so that mum and dad can make their choice!

Thanks again for a great time – maybe next time baby K will sleep???

A Year in Weddings {2009}

As many of you may know, 2009 was my first year as a full-time photographer. I thought I would just post my top ten images from the year (ten weddings, ten pictures …).

It all started off with Mike and Maureen who were married in January (full story here)

Then came Kate and James … on a wet day in April (full story here)

We did meet up again and got some wonderful “Mr & Mrs session” pictures to make up for the rain on their wedding day (you can see these again here).

Now on to July, which brought three weddings in quick succession … started off by Linda and Bill …

I’ve used this image because I know that it is a particular favourite of Linda’s (you can see more from their day here).

Then, the following day Jane and Martin celebrated their wedding at Reads in Faversham … (more here) …

Just one week later, Maria and Rob tied the knot at the Archbishops Palace in Maidstone …

My blog post on their wedding was possibly one of the longest I have written and you can read all about it here.

We then came to August, good weather … well, unfortunately not for Michaela and Kevin as the heavens opened in Herne Bay …

The rain made us more creative though and you can see more pictures from the day here.

What a difference ten days can make … that takes us up to Jo and Ed’s wedding celebrations at Langtons in Essex. The weather forecast was for rain … 28 degrees and beautiful blue skies! You can see the proof in my original blog post here.

Two weddings for September and finally the sun decided to shine on each of them … first, Gillian and Shaun who were married at Canterbury Registry office and had further photos at Mount Ephraim (if you would like to see more, click here

And then on to Siobhan and Gary … they were married at St Marys in Faversham and Siobhan predicted good weather … she was absolutely right (click here to see more) and then celebrated further at the Bell Hotel in Sandwich …

My final wedding of 2009 saw me photographing Helen and Daniel at The Little Hermitage … such a fun-filled wedding and a great way to round off my wedding year (have a look here for the whole story) …

And that brings my year to an end … not including all the wonderful families, children, maternity shoots, parties, christenings and charity events that I have photographed. I have thoroughly enjoyed reliving all the weddings that I attended and I enjoyed every single one. Thank you all!

Looking forward to 2010!
