You may recall my recent wedding with Kate and Blake (Part One of their wedding and Part Two of their wedding). They have relocated to Ghana to begin the next part of their adventures. Kate told me before they left the UK that the internet connection is very shaky and that emails can take up to four weeks to arrive.
However, over the weekend, the following arrived in my email box:
“I am so thrilled with the photography from our big day! We had some great shots and I am finding it hard to choose which portraits of my bridesmaids and best man to frame! We had an excellent time and your candid photography captured the mood splendidly at the church. It is the shots of the service which I cherish the most and feel you did an excellent job. My rock the dress style shots made me feel like a classic movie star and you did wonders to define my features and set lighting up so well. Thank you for coming back again in the evening and for giving Blake and I print-off photographs to take away on honeymoon and beyond in Ghana, they are up on my wall now! You worked tirelessly and I would not hesitate to recommend you in the future. ”
I am so pleased to receive an email such as this and am delighted that Kate and Blake cherish their photographs so much. I wish you all the best in your new life and hope that you have many more adventures together in the future.

Congratulations to Stacey and Anthony on their marriage on Saturday. I am just in the process of uploading and editing their (many) wedding day images … but here’s a tiny sneak peek …
You might be able to see from this image just how windy it was on Tankerton Slopes on Saturday – at one stage Stacey, in her gorgeous Maggie Sottero dress, nearly got blown away! All credit to the bride and groom for braving the wild weather!
Many more images to follow but just a quick thank you from a very happy photographer to my lovely couple for allowing me to join your celebrations … and the fish and chips at East Quay was possibly the best I have ever had!

Now how’s that for lucky? The forecast was for heavy rain and we had arranged the shoot for 11am … and we beat the weather! Kelly and Chris came down to Faversham for their engagement photoshoot and we went off to one of my favourite places, the Gunpowder Works. Both Kelly and Chris were a bit worried about being models for the morning, but I think the images below show that photography really can be fun!
The idea of an engagement session is to answer any questions that my couples may have about their wedding photography and also have fun …
We used some off-camera flash too!
And this was my favourite shot, I think!
I think Kelly and Chris enjoyed their session today and I am very much looking forward to their wedding next January!

Rosie and Federico were married on a beautiful September day. The sun shone, there was laughter in the air and the mix of Spanish and English families made their celebrations a delight! Thank you all for making me feel so very welcome on this international occasion!
Here’s a slideshow for you to enjoy!
I hope that you all enjoy the rest of the celebrations and I am sure that they will last long into the night! With all best wishes for your life together and all the excitement and joy that this will bring.

What a beautiful day for a christening … but what a difficult journey to get there! Unfortunately, due to an accident on the M2 motorway, some of the guests were unable to make it to Jessica Louise and Danny’s christening at the church (but luckily made it for the celebrations afterwards).
Emma (proud mum of Jessica and Danny) had contacted me recently about photographing the joint christening and of course, as I love photographing happy occasions, I was more than happy to do it!
The christening took place at the beautiful St Werburg Church in Hoo where the vicar mentioned that he had not had a professional photographer at a christening before – there’s a first time for everything!
I have prepared some montages which I think show the huge smiles all round on the day, even if Jessica Louise wasn’t too happy at the font …
But things certainly livened up and there was lots of enjoyment and laughter at The Roffen, where Emma and Warren had organised a children’s entertainer ..
And there was time for some photos with family and friends too …
And a double celebration and congratulations to Emma and Warren on their engagement! Thanks to everyone who made me feel so very welcome and I am just sorry that I couldn’t stay longer to enjoy the cake – it looked delicious! If you attended the christening and are interested in viewing the online gallery, Emma will have the details and password for you by the end of the week.

What a cute little chap … with a great family where there is always a willing pair of hands to help. I met Darren’s parents at a recent wedding (Rachel and Peter’s wedding) and they asked me to photograph their post-christening celebrations. And, of course, I was more than happy to help!
Can you spot yourself in the montage below?
And a couple of cute pictures for mum:
Thanks again everyone for making me feel so very welcome! Hope to see you again soon!
