That was a cold one! But Bonnie and Barney’s love for each kept them warm … along with scarves, gloves and running and jumping around on the beach! You can read their engagement story here: the cutest proposal …
Here’s your sneak peek …
OK, yes, I agree, that’s not fair … feet! But Bonnie and Barney did launch themselves into the photoshoot, much to the amazement of the kayaking club who were practising rolls in the freezing waters! So here’s the cutest cuddling shot …
Both Bonnie and Barney spoke of their forthcoming wedding with such passion and excitement, that it is sure to be an amazing occasion. Your online gallery will be open soon and it was a real pleasure to spend time with you both! Speak soon??? xx

Yesterday saw me at Cooling Castle Barn in Kent for the wedding celebrations of Kelly and Chris. A beautiful and emotional ceremony was followed by photos in the blisteringly cold winds … but Kelly looked absolutely radiant and glowed from within and Chris (despite his fear of his impending speech) took every opportunity to cuddle up to his new bride!
So, here’s a little sneak peek … more will follow, but, in the meantime, I wish you both all the happiness in the world and I can’t even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed your wedding!

Shall I just let the pictures doing the talking for this blog post? Gorgeous Miss Emma (who runs www.babyballet.co.uk in Canterbury, Faversham, Charing, Kennington and Whitstable) invited me to take some images towards the end of her pregnancy – as Emma is an accomplished model who has travelled worldwide, I just let Emma (and Mark) do the work and I took the pictures …
Emma had quite specific images in her mind but really just wanted to capture the beauty of the moment … I hear that their new baby boy has safely arrived and I am looking forward to visiting again soon.
If you are an expectant mother, do take a look at my site for more details of bump to baby photo packages – they really are excellent value and you will have images to treasure for ever. You can contact me by email email@example.com or do give me a call on 07786 314973.
And don’t worry if you’ve left it too late, I offer newborn photography and I photograph christenings too!

I know that these girls are desperate to see their pics from their shoot last Saturday … we had great fun and took loads, and loads of shots … with changes of outfits and some great acrobatics … but here are a few teasers …
Now, it’s a bit of a challenge getting so many people into the frame …
There are loads of fabulous images and I can’t wait to share your online gallery with you … but be patient … just a couple more days!
Thanks for making it such fun on Saturday and I hope that you all enjoyed yourselves. Happy Birthday!!!

Just the one from today’s session. Since Freya’s mummy won me in a raffle, we have become fast friends. And now she has baby no. 2 for me to photograph … such a lovely day and such a gorgeous girl …
Thanks for cheering up a dull and rainy day. Freya is a delightful little girl and another benefit was that I got cuddles too!

It’s that time of the year when everyone (apart from the very, very organised) are sorting out their year-end accounts. Unfortunately, I am not one of those very organised people, so I put aside today to start to work on my figures.
One of my cats, Gato, decided to come and help …
One of the great things that helped me get through the day was that, as I was filling out my cash book (or Excel spreadsheet …), I kept coming up with names of brides and grooms from the early part of 2009, babies, families, companies … it was like a fabulous trip down memory lane. And remembering their wedding days, the fun, the tears, the rain …
I am so looking forward to seeing what this year brings – and to getting my accounts finalised too!

What a wonderful way to start the new year … with the “bump” part of a “bump to baby” shoot (see my website for more details: www.samanthajonesphotography.co.uk) with Jenny and Tim (hint: they are expecting a girl …)
Jenny was a little bit worried that passersby might wonder what on earth was going on … but I just love how fabulous she looks (and Tim, maybe you should think about that modelling contract …!)
We had a mix of light today but, nonetheless, took every opportunity to use natural light (and chatter and laughter and loads of fun (by the way, did I ever mention that I love my job …))
And, in the nursery, Jenny and Tim had some zzzzzz … hoping that their baby girl sleeps through the night!!!
I can’t wait until I get the email to let me know that their new baby girl has arrived … thanks to you both for making today such fun and for joining in … see you in February/March!!!
