At the wedding rehearsal the night before, we had frantic misting of flowers in the church and country dancing … although that was Gemma and Charlie trying to work out which hand to hold at which point during their ceremony! With such a fun start to the proceedings, I had a slight suspicion that their wedding might be just as fun!
You may have seen Gemma and Charlie’s pre-wedding shoot posted on the blog … the weather was gorgeous that day and it certainly did not disappoint on the day of their wedding. Many plans had been made in the lead up to the wedding, timely planting of bulbs and flowers and shrubs, all ready to burst into colour on Gemma’s wedding day … the fact that in the UK, we have had the most glorious weather recently, and the fact that the seasons appear to be two weeks ahead, did not faze them … and the gardens were splendid and bright with colours.
As I was leaving the reception, Charlie asked if I could please, please post pictures as soon as possible … so here is your sneak peek …
Gemma, looking gorgeous …
And Charlie, looking handsome …
A tender look from a proud father to his daughter …
And a beautiful moment …
The wonderful gardens …
And a few problems with wind …
Time for some portraits …
A wonderful meal and on to the dancing …
It was such a great reception and I really didn’t want to leave …
So one more portrait, using the setting sun as a backdrop …
Gemma and Charlie … thank you so much for inviting me to be part of your day and thanks to all your family and friends, from near and far, for making me feel so welcome. Do please leave a comment below for Gemma and Charlie to enjoy whilst they are on their honeymoon and the full post of the wedding will follow very soon!

I enjoy investing in new equipment for my business … and my latest purchase has been an infinity table … I’ll have to post some images of the table itself, but suffice it to say that it is a beast! But once it’s set up and ready to go, I can provide keenly priced product photography from the comfort of my own home!
I was delighted to be commissioned by the owner of www.washitapes.co.uk to produce high quality, ready-to-use images for the new website. Using the infinity table, I can guarantee that there will be no post-processing required and that the images are perfect for promoting your product.
The images are clean and crisp and showcase the products perfectly.
You can see, and purchase, many more products on the www.washitapes.co.uk site.
If you are a business who is looking for competitively priced product photography in the Faversham, Canterbury and Herne Bay areas, do drop me a line email@example.com.

It’s great to work with local suppliers who you know, like and trust. As a photographer based in Faversham, it seemed to make sense to visit and photograph at one of the newest licensed venues in Faversham – or just on the outskirts!
Judd’s Folly (www.juddsfollyhotel.co.ukhas a new team on board, led by Jason Wolverson. They have totally restyled and revamped large areas of the hotel and there is more to come. I introduced Jason to Amanda of Thanetian Events (thanetianevents.co.uk) and we agreed that Amanda would style the venue and I would shoot some images!
With a black and white theme, this is the result:
If you are planning your wedding in the Faversham area, do take at look at Judd’s Folly. And then contact me for availability for your wedding date!
Thanks to Jason and Amanda for your assistance with putting this shoot together – and looking forward to working on lots of weddings in the future!

What a great idea … gorgeous D booked me to get some great shots as a coming home gift for her fiance … with a burlesque boudoir theme to them! I knew the right make-up artist for the job so got the lovely Emily Rose on board (www.emilyrosemakeupartisit.co.uk). Here’s a couple of teaser shots from the day …
We used available props, low, dramatic lighting and amazing makeup to create the look. D is choosing the images for her album at the moment … looking forward to putting that together!
If you fancy booking a boudoir photoshoot, or indeed are looking for a different idea for a hen night party, do drop me an email sam@samanthajonesphotography or check out my site www.samanthajonesphotography.co.uk for further details.

What a windy day – but gorgeously sunny and just great fun! Sarah and James are getting married in June and their wedding is having a 1950’s theme … here’s your sneak peek!
We met at Hall Place Gardens near Bexleyheath, which is well known to me. I used to go there with my family as a child and can remember my nan taking cuttings of the geraniums … The gardens were full of life and lots of people … and ducklings and tame baby squirrels!
Can’t wait for your wedding … it truly is going to be rock ‘n’ roll!
