I have photographed little Matilda since she was just a bump (bump to baby) and was delighted to be invited back today to take some more fabulous pictures of this gorgeous little one at one year old. Now, mummy asked for a sneak peek, and so I am going to be very sneaky … and here it is …
So, come on mummy, make those photo choices and I’ll post another sneak peek for you! Lovely to see you all again and your daughter is just beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed creating these wonderful memories for you and am delighted that your family were so happy with their Christmas presents too!

I had the pleasure of working with several wedding suppliers yesterday at a bridal wear photoshoot at the Old Kent Barn. Organised by make-up artist Lauren Hards (www.stylish-solutions.co.uk) and using gowns and beautiful accessories from Jodi’s in Canterbury (www.weddingsdresses.uk.com), we also had two different kinds of floral designs, fresh vintage roses from Victoria’s Flowers (Victoria’s Flowers) and sparkling bouquets from Floral Dreamz (Floral Dreamz Kent).
Here is just a quick sneak peek of our two gorgeous models, Harriet and Charlotte. They worked very hard and took direction really well. I was also assisted by Lauren Baker.
Two different girls and two very different looks …
The gowns were beautiful, with wonderful detailing and some of the hair accessories were just … well, we didn’t want to give them back. More images will follow in another blog post but I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone involved for taking the time out of their busy schedules and making it such a fun and productive afternoon.

Just spent a lovely couple of hours with this lovely young man who photographs very well and who seemed to enjoy the whole experience of being photographed! Here’s a quick sneak peek for his mummy, who is also an accomplished florist based near Canterbury:
Thanks to Chloe, big sister, who entertained and helped out (and also who photographs really well too!). The full online gallery will be up very soon. If you are thinking of having a lifestyle photoshoot, do drop me a line firstname.lastname@example.org. I have limited weekend availability so don’t delay!

If you are into scrapbooking or love making your own cards or even wedding invitations, take a look at one of my client’s websites www.washitapes.co.uk. I’ve just photographed the latest products to arrive in the UK and Washitapes are one of the first to get them in this country. So pop along to the updated site and take a look … here’s a little sneak peek of one of the new items for sale:
My client posted me the new range on Friday morning and by Friday evening, the edited digital files were available online for her to download … and the website, with the new products, was live by Saturday morning.
You don’t have to be local to me in Faversham to get high quality images of your products. If you run an online shop and need product photography of your latest range, do drop me a line email@example.com and we can discuss more in detail. It really is worth investing in professional product photography and Washitapes is a client who keeps coming back!

Wedding fairs are a great way to gather information about recommended suppliers. Once again, I am delighted that I have been invited to show at The Pines Calyx, a beautiful eco-friendly wedding venue in St Margaret’s Bay near Dover. Their website is here: www.pinescalyx.co.uk. Details of the wedding fair are on their site, but it’s on Sunday 25 March from 11am until 4pm. They have a dedicated wedding co-ordinator, the lovely Lisa Smith, who will be on hand to answer any questions and I’ll be there, showing a selection of weddings that I have photographed and also Elaine and Roger’s wedding at Pines Calyx too.
Do pop along to visit, it’s such a beautiful venue and worth considering for your wedding and reception. And who knows, there might be a special offer for any couples booking their wedding photography on the day …

It’s going to be about lots of lovely babies during this snowy February. Oliver’s mum and dad took advantage of my “bump to baby” package (you can see more on my website here. We had the bump shoot a few months ago and now, here’s the lovely little man himself!
And a shot which proves very popular with parents …
Although Oliver decided to practice his championship footballing skills … he’s a quick mover!
Oliver decided to stay awake during most of the photoshoot, but was the perfect model child for this final image for mum and dad’s sneak peek …
Capturing those early weeks of your newborn are so very special and they grow so quickly. Newborn sessions are best within the first ten days – Oliver was a little older, but that doesn’t matter as we still have some wonderful images which will form part of the story of his life. Details on booking sessions are on my website or you can email me firstname.lastname@example.org or give me a call 07786 314973. Photoshoots take place in the comfort of your own home and regular feeding breaks can be taken if required!

On this snowy, but very sunny day, I thought I would take the time to plot out the wedding venues and reception venues where I have photographed over the three years of being a full time photographer. As I worked through placing them on the map, it brought back so many lovely memories of all my fabulous couples. And, looking at the map, I think I can say for certain that I do cover the South East of England, including Kent, Surrey and Essex.
If your venue isn’t on the map, don’t worry. As a professional photographer, I either visit the venue beforehand if possible and I always carry out research online and I am always be able to cope with all situations, all kinds of lighting and all kinds of couples!
I’m pretty sure that I’ve included each and every wedding and reception that I have photographed … but I’ll certainly being adding lots more fabulous venues during the course of 2012!
