Tasha and Nick married at the Blazing Donkey {part two} …

Following on from part one, we rejoin Tasha as she is making her entrance …

I did mention earlier that it was windy? But Tasha’s beaming smile and obvious delight at marrying Nick shone through!

With one of the witnesses struggling to retain her hat, the documents were signed and Mr and Mrs Pittman announced! After, of course, the usual scramble for photographs of the happy couple!

I think some guests definitely chose the wrong side for the throwing of the confetti!

And it was soon time for welcome drinks and delicious canapes and the formal photographs requested by the bride and groom. And, of course, a few ones which maybe weren’t on the list …

It was soon time to leave the sunshine and enter The Blazing Donkey for a delicious wedding breakfast (Tasha and Nick had kindly organised one of the main courses for me … the most amazingly tender lamb and very garlicky gratin Daupinoise … but as the guests had enjoyed that too, the garlic didn’t matter quite so much!). And then, after the meal, the speeches …

I lost count of the times that Nick looked deep into his wife’s eyes and told her that he loved her. There were tears … and lots and lots of laughter!

With a glass of Limoncello as a toast, the guest reluctantly left their seats to make their ways back into the beautifully manicured gardens and then in to the marquee, for the cutting of the cake and dancing!

The dancing had already started but the floor was cleared ready for the bride and groom to smile and laugh and giggle their way through their first dance!

And then it was an open invitation for everyone else to join in!

I hope that you’ve enjoyed looking through the selection of images telling the story of Tasha and Nick’s wedding celebrations. They assured me that it would be relaxed and fun … and it certainly was! Your final edited images will be on their way to you by the end of this week and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts! xx
