Harvey is about twelve weeks old which is quite old for a newborn photoshoot – but mum had moved house and misplaced the voucher that she had been gifted at the beginning of the year. Luckily for me, she found it, called me and two days later, I met mum, Hannah and Harvey. As they’ve only been in their house for about three weeks, things were a little displaced so we decided to make it easy rather than trying to tidy … we pulled the couch level with a large window, covered up the couch with a neutral blanket to reflect in more light, used a little bit of fill in flash mixed with the natural light … and got these shots …
A sweet brother and sister shot …
Cute, huh … as Hannah is quite the little model, I popped on a close up filter and got a great variety of shots …
After all of his effort in beginning his modelling career, Harvey nodded off …
Such a fun way to spend a couple of hours and I’m so pleased that mum put Hannah in such a gorgeously bright dress and that Harvey eventually relaxed into the session. The online gallery will be up as soon as possible but I hope that you’ve enjoyed this little sneak peek! If you have young children, you don’t need to go to the trouble of booking a studio photoshoot – I come to your home and make it as relaxed as possible. If you’d like to book a shoot, you can check out my prices here or drop me an email to email@example.com to check availability. Hope to hear from you soon!

How on earth can I choose just one image as a sneak peek for Helen and Terry? I must say that they have made my job very difficult this morning. With the biggest smiles I think I have ever seen at a wedding, the most laughing during a ceremony (one of Helen’s middle names is quite unusual …), the beautiful grounds, the amazing venue, the details … I struggled. So, here you go … and if you can see the mistake in one of the images in this set of four, do comment …
The registrar didn’t notice to start with!
I so much enjoyed spending time with this gorgeous couple and their family and friends. It was my first wedding at Bradbourne House and I hope that it won’t be my last. With thanks to everyone that made the day go so well and I’ll be working on the images as soon as I can.
But how could I not include these two images, in front of the beautiful wisteria …
Congratulations to you both and thank you so much for including me in your special day xx

It is really quite amazing how fast children grow. As part of my collections, I offer either bump to baby or newborn to one year photoshoots and I was delighted that Meike and her family decided to book me for bump to baby. Robin was only eight days old when I last visited him … and now he is nine months old and absolutely gorgeous! Mum suspects that he is cutting some new teeth which made him a little bit cranky but nonetheless, with all best efforts of mum and lovely big sister, Heidi, we got a great selection and I’m sure that mummy and daddy will be spoilt for choice when making their decisions for Robin’s album. Take a look …
The bottom right hand side image just makes me grin! And sister Heidi – well, I couldn’t miss her out, could I?
Poor Robin was really suffering and even his nursery says that he is one of the smiliest boys. We wanted to get a few images with mum …
And with Heidi …
You can never guarantee how children will react during a photoshoot but I’m confident that we have a good selection to choose from for Robin’s album. If you are expecting and would like more information of my packages, click on this link or send me an enquiry via my website.

Image is everything … people buy people and they like to know what you look like! If you are in business, it is very important, and highly recommended, to have a personal profile page accompanied by an image of you. I know, I know, so many people dislike having their photograph taken but I joined the team at Hadlow Manor recently as they appreciate just how important it is to have clear profile images.
You can find them here: www.hadlowmanor.co.uk/our-team and I’m delighted to be on their list of recommended recommended wedding suppliers. So now you know that, when you call to ask for a show round for your wedding or celebration at Hadlow Manor and speak to Una … you know what she looks like!
I love photographing weddings at Hadlow – the venue and grounds lend themselves to beautiful images and whether it is sunny or rainy, there is always somewhere to get beautiful photographs.
If you are planning a celebration at Hadlow Manor, whether it is a wedding, a christening or a birthday party, drop me a line firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me all about your plans!

When I first met Charlotte and her sister at a wedding fair, little did I know what a fun and detailed wedding Charlotte was planning. She had read in a wedding magazine that weddings should be styled and have a theme – so she took that to heart and themed the wedding as Alice in Wonderland. Great table plans, sweeties galore and hats, lots and lots of hats!
I arrived to meet up with Daniel and his ushers and to capture guests arriving. The forecast was mixed, sunshine and showers and we certainly had both of those during the course of the day (right at the end of the formals, it started to rain … great timing)!
Wedding transport varies from horse and carriage, to Rolls Royce to limousine. But never have I heard the bride’s arrival before seeing her … she arrived in her dad’s electric blue hot rod which had been preceded by her bridesmaids in another hot rod!
And, of course, with a bridesmaid as cute as Olivia in a cute little dress that she could spin around in …
The chapel at Salmestone Grange is really quite beautiful with colourful stained glass windows and centuries of history. Once everyone was seated, Charlotte walked in to a scattering of rose petals and accompanied by proud dad Keith. Daniel did look a little nervous but as soon as his future wife arrived, there were smiles and laughter all round!
Once the register was signed and kisses exchanged, we completed the formal shots on Charlotte and Daniel’s list just in time as the heavens opened. But we then were whisked away from the venue in a beautiful Rolls Royce and popped down to the sea for a few shots. We really were so very lucky … the skies cleared, just for a bit …
I must say that I was a bit scared when some dog walkers came past … I held my breath and hoped with all my might that they wouldn’t jump up on Charlotte’s dress!
Then back to the venue for confetti – I do always recommend that brides and grooms shouldn’t breathe in for this bit! Charlotte had lots of help with removing most of the confetti as she was a bit concerned that it might stain her amazing dress … I love her natural laughter and genuine smiles!
I mentioned the details before but check these out, along with the incredible cake!
We did pop out in between courses to make use of the available light – it was changing so quickly, one minute sunshine and then next gentle rain. But I don’t think you would see that from the smiles!
Soon it was time for the wedding breakfast (delicious, as always!) and then on to speeches … again, Charlotte was just throwing her head back with laughter!
I left the party after the first dance … more guests were arriving and the laughter and smiles started all over again! I’ll end this post with a montage of Charlotte and her friends … details at a wedding have their place, but I think the true memories are of people.
Congratulations to you both and thanks so much for inviting me to share your day. I can’t wait to share your final images with you. xx

This was my first of, I hope, many weddings at this gorgeous venue in West Malling, tucked away from the hubbub of the high street. I joined Leigh and Bozena and their four guests for an intimate and delightful wedding and just wanted to share one image with you. After the long, hard and cold winter, I was finally blessed with sunshine for a wedding. Bright, beautiful sunshine!
Congratulations to you both and thank you for making it such a pleasant morning’s “work”.
If you are planning your wedding at The Swan, whether a small, intimate gathering or a larger celebration, do get in touch email@example.com as I would love to return very soon!
