I met the lovely Sheree and her mum at a wedding fair last year … and she booked me on the spot! I can’t believe that their wedding has come around so quickly – we met up a few weeks ago to chat through final details and this couple is very, very, very much in love. Sheree and Shane have two amazing little ones with the biggest and cheekiest smiles ever and it was just fabulous to be part of their day.
It is rare that I get emotional on a wedding day – I’m usually concentrating too hard on what’s coming next, ensuring that I’m in the right place to get the shot. But when Sheree stood in the church with Shane and spoke her vows … and when she read out her speech at their wedding breakfast and her voice quivered with love … it gets even the “toughest” of photographers.
How on earth was I supposed to choose just one image from their day … so I didn’t …
Look, just look at their gorgeous babies!
It rained at all the “right” times. Sheree, you glowed. Your bridesmaids were fun and pretty fabulous! Shane, your honesty and your love for Sheree shines so bright … thank you both xx

Lynsey and Neil are celebrating their wedding on a date which can be written backwards and forwards. I have a sneaky suspicion that it’s going to be one amazing day – Lynsey whispered that she’s taken delivery of the dress and her excitement was contagious. These two are gorgeous. They are relaxed and fun and very much in love … and I’m so excited to be joining them on their special palindrome day!

How much fun was Sara and Steve’s wedding on Saturday at the beautiful venue of Pines Calyx in St Margaret’s Bay. Although the day dawned slightly overcast, Chris, Sara’s dad, confidently told me that it was going to clear by 1pm – the time that he would be walking his daughter along the aisle to marry her best friend, Steve. And he was right …
Sara, you looked stunning, your amazing bridal gown suited you perfectly.
Steve, your speech was so heartfelt, there was barely a dry eye in the house.
And you both were such fun to be with that it makes my job so very, very easy.
Much love to you both and I hope that you have such an amazing adventure on your honeymoon – I can’t wait to hear all about it and to share your images with you. Thanks again for inviting me to be a small part of your wonderful day xx

As I package up Claire and Marc’s album for delivery, it felt like just the right time to post the full story of their glorious July wedding at The Old Kent Barn (The Old Kent Barn). As I look through the images, I can feel the warmth of the day, reflected in their smiles, the laughter and the joy. Here’s the story of Claire and Marc’s day …
The barns looked absolutely amazing in the strong sunshine and the cool and beautifully decorated wedding breakfast barn looked very welcoming indeed!
The bridal preparation room has been newly introduced and Claire was one of the first brides to take advantage of the air conditioning which was very welcome indeed! Leopard rules, baby!
Although it looks as though Claire and Marc were getting ready in the same room, Marc was over in the old barn, finishing his preparations whilst Claire and her mum were in the main barn.
The tuk tuk ferries all brides across from one barn to the other, and was filled was laughter and a little bit of nerves …
But any nerves were quickly dispelled by mum and dad!
Their ceremony took place in the gazebo … to the sounds of bleating lambs in the background – it was also very windy on their day, although you wouldn’t really see it from these images as Claire looked composed and happy throughout!
The grounds at the barns are beautiful and were full of flowers and gorgeous places to shoot the happy couple.
Marc’s dad had made their wishing well … so many personal touches from friends and family.
The children were well entertained with fishing games and lots of lots of sweets!
We had time to pop back out into the gardens after the cutting of the cake and the slowing setting sun created the opportunity for some beautiful back lit images.
Claire and Marc were quickly joined during their first dance by their little son who delighted in being part of the whole day!
Such a handsome couple, a gorgeous venue and the most amazing weather. I hope that you both enjoy looking through your album for many years to come and sharing with family and friends when they come to visit. Much love xx

It was the bank holiday weekend. The sun shone. For those of us used to the weather in the UK, this is unusual in itself. The fact that the sun shone for all three days of the bank holiday was almost unheard of.
And it was on Sunday that Nicola and Mark celebrated their love and commitment to each other in one of the lightest, brightest churches that I have ever had the pleasure of photographing in. Where I was welcomed with tea and biscuits and joyful singing … and when the sun still shone for the bride and groom to continue on to Hadlow Manor in the warm and beautiful light, keeping to the speed limit at all times in the Bentley …
Oh, and there were confetti cannons …
The light was hard but we managed to find open shade and how stunning do they both look?
It was a pleasure to be just a small part of your special day and I hope that celebrated long into the night. Congratulations to you both! xx
