Julie and I met last year when we were both exhibiting at a wedding fair in Faversham. She was wearing some beautiful and delicate flowers on her wrist – I asked her how they were made and our friendship, and business relationship, started from there!
Julie has invited me along to a couple of her workshops, the most recent of which had a wedding flower feel. With beautiful floral crowns and hand tied bouquets and table decorations, the ladies in the class were full of inspiration and didn’t mind modelling the final results!
As you can see, the flowers looked absolutely amazing and Julie is a patient teacher and is happy to work with anyone who loves flowers, whatever your experience level. She is holding two workshops in Faversham, at Creek Creative, both on 1 July, the morning session is where Julie will teach you how to create a hand tied bouquet and the afternoon session is where you will learn all the intricacies of making your own floral crown. Having seen Julie in action, I think it’s a fun way to socialise and to learn at the same time and you will leave with a beautiful floral display!

I’m looking forward to working with Julie again over the course of the coming months as I think she is a great creative and also an incredibly clever florist! Do let her know that you found her course details on my blog as I’m sure she’d be delighted to know!
