As part of my work for Whitehead Monckton (examples here), I was asked to cover a retirement celebration event for Tim Monckton, who had been a partner at the firm for 30 years at the Town Hall in Tenterden. My brief was to take candid images along with a few “posed” shots to show the event in its entirety and to cover speeches also.
I was pleased to see that the event received coverage in the Canterbury Index magazine …
It’s always great to see my photographs in publications and I hope to be linked with Whitehead Monckton for future celebrations and corporate work.

It’s so nice to be able to deliver wedding images in person. It’s not always possible to do it but I was able to visit Jill and Kevin when they returned from their honeymoon to hand over their final edits from their wedding at East Quay in Whitstable.
And it was equally nice to catch up with the “after show” events, what their high points were from their day and to show them a little slideshow too … and, in return, I received a lovely bottle of bubbly and the kindest testimonial …
Such words make me realise how much I love what I do. And I get the best couples too! If you are planning your wedding in Kent for 2015, why not drop me a line email@example.com and tell me about your plans …

Jemma and Rob first met through Jemma’s sister and their relationship then blossomed back in July 2007 – through Facebook … and culminated in an amazing day last December at The Old Kent Barn with friends and family from all corners of the globe.
I consider myself an exceptionally lucky person. To have clients like Jemma and Rob … it makes my job the most wonderful thing in the world. To be part of a day that has been planned in such detail, and in which so many fabulous people have been involved … amazing. To be trusted that the end results, my images, will reflect the spirit and enjoyment of the day … I’m very, very lucky.
I asked Jemma to explain the inspiration for their wedding theme. She tells me that her favourite Disney movie has always been Beauty and the Beast. And Jemma and Rob’s wedding had so many little references to this film … and when she told me that they had “Be our guest” on their wedding invites, it all became clear.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the story of Jemma and Rob’s one amazing day … my second photographer, Chris, met up with the boys at the Refectory Kitchen in Canterbury …
Whilst I met up with the girls at the Old Kent Barn …
That’s the end of part one … so many gorgeous images so please check back soon for part two and the biggest and most gorgeous wedding cake I have ever seen!

I delivered Aoife’s newborn to one year photoshoot album last week. I really didn’t want to let it go … such a great quality product, filled with images chosen by mum and dad and designed by me. A real heirloom.
I’m looking forward to volumes 2, 3, 4 … and to capturing those important moments in this sweet baby girl’s life. There are two price levels for these sessions and you can find out more here or email me firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
