Lee and Geoff were married on a beautifully warm and sunny day in July at Whitstable Castle. I was absolutely delighted when they decided to upgrade their wedding package to include a main album and two albums for their mums which were to be gifted at Christmas.
Lee is a stickler for detail which showed throughout her wedding and also in the design process. However, with a new piece of whizzy software, we were able to draft and proof the album online which helped with the speed of delivery no end!
Here are the pages from their final album – the leather covers complemented exactly their colour scheme and I hear that the mums were absolutely delighted with their gifts!
I was so pleased with the final results and the bride and groom, more importantly, were too!

In the downtime between Christmas and New Year, what better way to celebrate than to have a wedding! Sarah and Sam chose Hadlow Manor near Tonbridge for their entire day and I was delighted to be chosen to capture their day. As soon as I met Sarah and her family, I knew that this would be a wedding full of love and emotion … although Sam might rather have been fishing …
I met up with the boys who were struggling to solve the age old problem of … tying a cravat! I really should learn how to do it to help out as I’m so often asked!
The girls weren’t having any issues, helped with mince pies and champagne!
I absolutely love this image … Sarah, you looked so happy and confident and amazing!
The ceremony room, despite being December, was bathed with light and made my job very easy indeed …
And out into the “snow”, organised by Sarah’s sister and complete surprise for the bride!
We were so lucky to be able to have some photographs in the grounds despite the light fading. It’s also nice for the bride and groom to have some time alone … with me, of course!
Before it was time for me to leave, we had time for a few night portraits and then it was time for the bride and groom to rejoin their guests and dance late into the night …
Thank you both for having me along at your wedding and for making me feel so incredibly welcome. I also really enjoyed designing your album and hope that you will be taking another look or two on your anniversary. With much love to you both xx

How lovely it was to be invited back to this lovely family to photograph their latest addition, Oscar. As Tilly is now a big sister, she was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole shoot and we achieved some lovely shots of both the new arrival and his big sister!
Here are just a couple of teaser images (and a super cute one too when Oscar had nodded off … perfect!)
I can’t wait to return in six months to photograph Oscar and his family again. It really does create beautiful memories of a time which is so fleeting. If you are expecting a new arrival or would be interested in a relaxed and family photoshoot, why not check out details and pricing by clicking this link.

As Jemma and Rob are celebrating their first anniversary in foreign climes, it’s time to share the second part of their wedding (you can see part one here). All of the formal images had to be taken inside the barn because the sun had set and it was getting rather chilly outside! Jemma and Rob’s guests were entertained with some delicious looking canapés and mulled wine and also the creative services of a caricaturist …
Soon, it was time for the speeches. Rob had two best men. The image of the “underpants” will stay with me for years to come …
Rob had even received a nomination for “Kleenex Man of the Year” – apparently he’s quite an emotional man!
The speeches were done, the dance floor was clear … and it was time for the cutting of THE cake … the biggest I had seen all year!
All too soon, Jemma and Rob took to the dance floor for their first dance …
And later accompanied by Jemma’s dad, singing with the band!
We managed a few more images outside but, by this time, it was extremely cold … but I think it was worth it!
Many congratulations on your first anniversary, Jemma and Rob, and I’m guessing that it’s a little warmer where you are right now … I look forward to joining you at future family celebrations and it really was so wonderful to be part of such an enjoyable and fabulous wedding!

It’s taken a while for me to be brave enough to book my first set of sessions … but I am so glad that I did! Using the upstairs room at The Saddlers right on the Market Place in Faversham, I welcomed nine families who came along, giggled, laughed, blew bubbles and sang … here are just a few of the results!
I can’t blog all of the sessions because some of them are secret Christmas presents … what a great idea! We had Santa hats, bubbles, fairies, wands and dancing. Jumping and giggling and cuddling … oh it was such fun. The smiles and energy from the children was just inspiring!
If you’d like more details on the next set of sessions, which will be in Spring 2015, just drop me a line firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll be happy to tell you more. In fact, some of my clients already want to book for the next ones too as their little ones will have changed so much by then! I also offer bespoke family photography in a more relaxed environment so do get in touch.
