On a day not dissimilar to today (as I write, the sun is streaming through the windows and there’s a real hint of warmth in the air …), I had the pleasure of photographing an intimate yet international wedding at Read’s Restaurant in Faversham. As this venue is only two minutes walk from me, it’s a delight to be recommended there – the grounds are perfectly manicured and the ceremony room filled with glorious light … all wonderful as far as I’m concerned!
Preparations were in full swing, guests arriving from all corners of the globe, buttonholes being pinned … and final details confirmed.
Trevor has four daughters, unfortunately one wasn’t able to join them on the day but they all looked exceptionally relaxed and happy!
Evonne, you looked amazing, calm and relaxed …
After the formalities were completed, we went quickly out into the courtyard garden to capture some “formal” images before the wedding breakfast.
The wisteria is absolutely glorious at this time of the year and fills the entire wall!
As this a shorter coverage wedding for me, I popped into the reception room to photograph a few details – it really did look lovely!
And the cake … yum!
Time for one final shot – and then it was time for me to leave …
Such a lovely and friendly wedding and I felt so very welcome. Read’s is a fantastic venue for intimate weddings and has accommodation too.
