I was delighted to be invited to photograph Lisa of Honey Interior Design at her offices in Hythe. I was immediately struck with desk envy. A huge, clear desk dominates the space with yellow accents and personal pieces on the walls and mantlepiece. As is so often the case, Lisa realises the value of professional headshots … but doesn’t like having her picture taken. It took a little while to get the shot that I knew I wanted to show Lisa’s personality and enthusiasm and I also took some “behind the scene” shots too to tell the story.
Lisa was recently nominated for an award in Kent Women in Business and was runner up in her category – huge congratulations!
Oh the details …
Huge. Gorgeous. Desk. Books and books of samples. Pattern heaven!
And this is the shot. Posted on Facebook by Lisa, it got the most genuine comments and I am so pleased that it received such positive reactions (always good for both client and photographer).
Subsequent to this shoot, Lisa also invited me to photograph three of her most recent design projects and we had a great road trip day visiting the locations. It also gave me an insight in her skills and ability to work to the clients’ remits (and budgets).
Read more about Lisa on her website and if you are looking for design advice, drop her a line. She has a great offer at the moment, entitled “Design in a Box” which is keenly priced and includes design advice for a room or office space – it could be an excellent wedding gift or a great investment for a company that has relocated and wants to create a better business ambience!
