As I walk through the woods with my two Tibetan Terriers, it’s really easy to notice the chance in seasons. The colours of the trees are becoming vibrant, a hint of wood smoke in the air and conkers everywhere (I’m sure when I was younger, there weren’t so many conkers …).
So it’s time to launch another round of family photoshoots. Half term is a great opportunity for families when they are relaxed and have time to spend with each other. When better to book a family photoshoot, on the beach or in the woods, to capture your children doing what they naturally enjoy the most … kicking through leaves, collecting conkers … being children.
And, of course, if you have dogs, they are more than welcome to come along too!
Please do email firstname.lastname@example.org for availability of the sessions. A great way of spending time with the family and getting images which really do reflect their personalities.
Sessions last between one to one and a half hours and will be in the local vicinity of Faversham and outlying villages (including the seaside) so long enough to get wonderful images but not too long!

How lovely it was to be invited back to this lovely family to photograph their latest addition, Oscar. As Tilly is now a big sister, she was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole shoot and we achieved some lovely shots of both the new arrival and his big sister!
Here are just a couple of teaser images (and a super cute one too when Oscar had nodded off … perfect!)
I can’t wait to return in six months to photograph Oscar and his family again. It really does create beautiful memories of a time which is so fleeting. If you are expecting a new arrival or would be interested in a relaxed and family photoshoot, why not check out details and pricing by clicking this link.

The sun shone. It really did. After what seems like the longest winter and spring ever, it was warm today. And what better way to spend an hour than with the fabulous Spillett family. I first met mummy Helen when she “won” me in a raffle and we’ve kept in touch ever since. I’ve photographed her gorgeous children many times and they are absolutely delightful and a credit to their parents.
Without further ado, and because I know that mummy can’t wait … here’s your sneak peek!
Tom … oh Tom, you are going to break some hearts …
And Freya, last time I photographed you, you were just tiny … and now …
And I think that mummy and daddy were just so happy to be with their lovely children …
We took so many photographs. The light was perfect and the location was perfect and the images are just the best. I’m so pleased that we managed to schedule this shoot at such short notice and the forecast of thunderstorms wasn’t right. If you would like to book a shoot, please do fill out the contact form below.
Thank you again to Helen and Harry, and Tom and Freya and I look forward to photographing you all for many years to come!

It’s always lovely to be asked to return to previous clients to capture some up-to-date pictures as their children grow. To return to see Matilda and her parents (and grandparents and auntie) could not have been more enjoyable. The sun shone, the cakes were ready and the tea party started … Tilly is full of life and energy. An absolute delight to photograph and looks very different from the last time that I saw her when she was one year old.
Bright, direct sunlight, although something that we all love to see, can sometimes present challenges. So Tilly found her own place to stand for photographs …
But she still led her mum and dad a merry dance around the garden!
I have the most wonderful selection of images which are nearly ready to show mum and dad, although mum did mention that it’s better if I don’t show too many otherwise they really will be spoilt for choice! Here’s a final little image, against the rich blue colour of her auntie’s dress and a moment of reflection …
I know that everyone has a camera and I’m sure that lots of beautiful images are captured every second but if you are looking for a photographer to capture a special moment in time with the liveliest of clients, just drop me a line email@example.com – I offer more than just prints – I offer memories that last a lifetime.

It could not have been better weather for our family photoshoot. Katy, mum to to these gorgeous two boys, had met me at a recent pamper evening at Pines Calyx organised by Ellie Beer of The Finishing Touches Event Management and taken up my special voucher offer. They were looking for images that could serve as Christmas presents and general “pick-me-ups” and I think we managed to get those despite Louis not feeling at his best. As promised, here is your sneak peek … I found it too hard just to pick one …
And we had to listen to trees …
And “kiss” mummy …
I hope that you’ve enjoyed your sneak peek and that your little one is feeling much better. I’m looking forward to sharing your online gallery with you very soon! xx

I joined one year old Jayden and his family yesterday for his first birthday party … and there was a special surprise for him too! He’s a great fan of Mr and Mrs M Mouse and they knew it was his birthday and popped round to join in the celebrations!
Here’s a quick sneak peek … we started outside, getting some fabulous candid shots with bright colours … just perfect for this blue-eyed boy!
Then a quick snack for Jayden with his birthday hat …
And then time for his special guests!
By this time, our birthday boy was getting a bit tired with all his exertions – after all, it was a busy day! Thanks so much for getting me along to photograph this special occasion and the full online gallery will be up very soon! And thank you to Mickey and Minnie for making a special appearance (you can find more out about them here)!

It doesn’t seem possible that this gorgeous little girl can be seven months old tomorrow. We first “met” when she was only a “bump”, and then again shortly afterwards when she stayed wide awake … and now, here she is, looking absolutely gorgeous at seven months. What a wonderful way to start a Monday!
I am looking forward to seeing which images Jenny and Tim choose for their book which is included in the package. And I could not have been more delighted when Jenny has asked me to return for little M’s first birthday in February next year. Oh yes please!
If you are interested in finding out more about my “bump to baby” or “baby to one year” packages, do check out the page on my website. There are staggered payments for the sessions and, of course, it would make a wonderful gift for a newborn.
