Wedding fairs – Spring 2016

It’s nearly time again for the spring set of wedding fairs.  I love meeting brides and grooms at wedding fairs and hearing their stories whether they are just recently engaged or a little further along in their planning.

I would be so great to see you … but, of course, if you can’t make it to one of the fairs, I’m available to meet over tea and cake …

Wedding fair season is starting up again … and it’s nearly Spring …

Wedding fairs are a great way to gather information about recommended suppliers. Once again, I am delighted that I have been invited to show at The Pines Calyx, a beautiful eco-friendly wedding venue in St Margaret’s Bay near Dover. Their website is here: Details of the wedding fair are on their site, but it’s on Sunday 25 March from 11am until 4pm. They have a dedicated wedding co-ordinator, the lovely Lisa Smith, who will be on hand to answer any questions and I’ll be there, showing a selection of weddings that I have photographed and also Elaine and Roger’s wedding at Pines Calyx too.

Do pop along to visit, it’s such a beautiful venue and worth considering for your wedding and reception. And who knows, there might be a special offer for any couples booking their wedding photography on the day …

The last of the season … well, for wedding fairs for Samantha Jones Photography, that is!

It’s not quite the end of the wedding season here at Samantha Jones Photography (although I am not sure if weddings really fit into any one particular season any more!).

I’m attending my final wedding fair for this year … I’ve been to a few: Hadlow Manor, near Tonbridge; Mount Ephraim, near Faversham; Hamlets Hotel in Larkfield; Leeds Castle Wedding Show at Leeds Castle, Dover College Wedding Show … and the final one is at the gorgeous eco-friendly resort of The Pines Calyx ( I was there in March of this year at their wedding open day and am delighted to be returning this Sunday, 30 October (remember, the clocks go back!).

I photographed Elaine and Roger’s celebrations there earlier this year (Elaine and Roger on the blog) and am pleased to be returning there next year for Yvette and Tim’s celebrations and, hopefully, many more.

If you have met me at a previous wedding fair and we maybe didn’t have time to chat properly and you fancy the idea of enjoying the wonderful grounds at Pines Calyx and checking through my albums and wedding photography packages in the peace and quiet of the roundels, then do join me and other enthusiastic recommended wedding suppliers this Sunday. I’m hoping for the weather to be as glorious as it was for Elaine and Roger!

{Wedding fayres}

If you have been toying with the idea of having your wedding photographed, but are concerned about the cost and the huge variation in packages offered by so many different photographers, why not come along to one of the wedding fayres where I will be having a stand. You can take a look through my albums, discuss your wedding day over a cup of tea and possibly get a great deal on your wedding photography in the bargain!

18 September 2011 Hadlow Manor near Tonbridge
25 September 2011 Hamlets Hotel in Larkfield
2 October 2011 Mount Ephraim Gardens near Faversham
15/16 October 2011 Leeds Castle
23 October 2011 Dover College
30 October 2011 Pines Calyx, St Margarets Bay near Dover

I am delighted to be a recommended supplier at Hadlow Manor, Hamlets Hotel, Mount Ephraim and Pines Calyx. So if you are planning your wedding at any of these venues, I would be delighted book a consultation with you to hear more about your day!

If you want to meet me in person {upcoming wedding fairs}

Face-to-face meetings really work for me. Email is something that we can all hide behind and I love hearing about wedding plans and hopes and dreams and desires of brides-to-be.

Even if you are not quite ready to book your wedding photographer, come along, meet me in person and look at the beautiful albums and canvases that I will have on display. We can easily schedule a further meeting to discuss all of your plans for your wedding day. There is no commitment, just a chat over coffee.

To that end, I am pleased to announce that I will be standing at two wedding fairs in March as follows:

Sunday 20 March 2011 – Hadlow Manor

I will be in the preferred suppliers area at Hadlow Manor which is near Tonbridge. Entrance is free and the fair opens at 10.30am. You can find more details here). And you can see images of a photoshoot that I recently had at Hadlow Manor on a separate post on my blog here.

Sunday 27 March 2011 – The Pines Calyx

I am one of three preferred suppliers for photography at this beautiful eco-friendly wedding venue in St Margarets Bay in Dover. I am photographing a September wedding there and very much hope that the weather is as glorious as when I shot these images pictures at Pines Calyx wedding venue. You can find more details about the wedding open day by clicking here.
